Panel Within IEEE ComSoc
Panel: Human-Centric Trustworthy AI for Secure 6G Systems
Abstract
6G networks are poised to be AI-native and the integration of AI into the fabric of 6G networks is expected to enable highly autonomous, intelligent, and adaptive communication systems. At the same time, it also introduces new challenges related to security, privacy, transparency, accountability, safety, and human oversight, in short, trustworthiness. This panel will explore how human-centric and trustworthy AI principles can be embedded into the design, deployment, and operation and adoption of secure 6G networks. The aim is to ensure that increasing network intelligence does not come at the expense of human values, safety, security, and/or control. The discussion will address key questions around the context of the 6G networks, role of humans, AI-driven automation, robustness, business, responsibility of AI, regulations and governance, and challenges.
