- Giovanni Stanco, Università degli Studi di Napoli, Italy
- Francesca Meneghello, University of Padova, Italy
Abstract
The panel, supported by Women in Communications Engineering (WICE), will explore how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are reshaping the landscape of next-generation wireless networks. Key topics include AI-native 6G network architectures, the role of AI/ML in Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs), and emerging real-world use cases.
Alongside these technical frontiers, the session will share inspiring stories from expert researchers with diverse backgrounds who are actively shaping the future of wireless communications and mobile networking. Their experiences will offer practical strategies for navigating and building a successful career in this fast-evolving field.
IEEE WiMob 2025 – WICE Travel Grants for Female Student Researchers
Dear Authors and Participants,
We are pleased to offer two Student Travel Grants to female student researchers who will participate in IEEE WiMob 2025. These grants, funded by IEEE WICE (Women in Communications Engineering), aim to support participation of female students in the conference. Each grant is up to USD 1000, based on actual expenses and reimbursed after the event. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis; applicants must arrange their own travel and have additional funding since the grant is a partial contribution.
